Since 1973, the Hotel Altis is an icon Hotel in Lisbon and scene of important events in different areas of the Portuguese society. Past 40 years the Hotel continues to be a symbol of the trendy Lisbon and changes its name to ALTIS GRAND HOTEL.
While keeping the original logo monogram, the new name is justified by the fact that the Hotel Altis is since its opening a large hotel with 300 rooms, including 12 suites, congress center with 20 meeting rooms, 3 restaurants, 3 bars, Spa, swimming pool, Business Centre, shopping gallery and large public areas.
This change of the original name aims to strength the position of the Altis Grand Hotel as a reference Five star Hotel in Lisbon, as well as be differentiated from the other units of the Altis Hotels group.
