By the invitation of the Restaurant Grill D. Fernando team, led by Chef Rui Santos Silva and the Sous Chef Alexandre Gomes, the Chef Cláudio Pontes and the Sous Chef Nuno Santos from the Azorean Restaurant Anfiteatro flock to the capital to participate in the II Edition of the Azores Degustation Dinner in Lisbon. This is an event organized by Altis Grand Hotel and the School of Tourism Studies and Hotel Açores, with the support of the Regional Government.
The Azores Degustation Dinner in Lisbon will took place on October 30, Friday, starting at 8 pm and will present at the Restaurant Grill D. Fernando the exceptional cuisine of the nine Azoreans islands with the quality of the most genuine products, highlighting the fish, meat, cheeses, fruits and wines that will accompany this special menu.
The event starts with a welcome cocktail, following the dinner developed in teams by the Chefs of Grill D. Fernando and Anfiteatro Restaurants, that will use the unique products of the Azores.
In addition to tasting a genuine Azorean menu, there is a possibility to win a trip to the Azores for two persons, offered by SATA, one of the main sponsors of this event.
In a tribute to the diversity and culinary wealth of the Azores archipelago in the days that follow, from October 31st to November 4th, the Altis Hotels Group will complement the breakfast in the hotels with a selection of typical products from Azores as the kneaded dough, pineapple, São Jorge cheese, old cheese São Miguel, Morro cheese, Pico cheese, jams, butter, milk and yogurts.
The Azores Degustation Dinner in Lisbon has a cost of 50,00€ per person, with drinks included.
