World Travel Awards

The past Saturday, 30th of September, was held the awards ceremony of the 2017 edition of the World Travel Awards. The ceremony took place at S. Petersburg, Russia.

The  Altis Belém Hotel & Spa won for the second consecutive year the award in the category Portugal’s Leading Design Hotel and for the first time the award Europe’s Leading Design Hotel, currently competing in the category World’s Leading Design Hotel.

The Altis Suites, for the third consecutive year, was rewarded as Portugal's Leading Serviced Apartments.

Portugal is also to be congratulated, won 37 awards, included the Best European Destination. The selection of nominees and winners of World Travel Awards is made by thousands of professionals of the hotel and tourism sector.

The Altis Belém Hotel & Spa won the award Portugal’s Leading Design Hotel and The Altis Suites, for the second consecutive year, was rewarded as Portugal's Leading Serviced Apartments.

The Chairman of the board, Raul Martins, took the stage on behalf of Altis Hotels Group to receive awards and proudly states that "these awards are the international recognition of the work that the teams of the hotels have been developing and maintaining throughout the year." He further states that, “these awards are an important reference at the time that our guests choose the hotel”.
