The Portuguese Association of Hospitality (AHP) launched in September the Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability stamps with the goal of award socially and environmentally committed Hotels, grounding this way the sustainable growth.

At the 27th Congress of AHP, the Altis Hotels were distinguished considering the commitment to the many initiatives implemented in the hotels:

Altis Avenida Hotel has obtained, for the second consecutive year, a certification in environmental management (ISO 14001) recognized nationally and internationally, awarded by the Portuguese Certification Association (APCER).  

This 5 star boutique hotel of the Altis Hotels Group, located in the historic center of Lisbon, occupies a building of the 50s, which was fully recovered and converted with technical support provided by IPPAR / IGESPAR and Tourism of Portugal.
 
Along with the recovery of a building of architectural interest, the Altis Hotels group has devoted particular attention to sustainability issues by adopting an environmental liability perspective of continuous improvement of the quality of its services, greater efficiency and rationalization of resources and costs.
